Health and wellness are less about what our lab numbers show, what the doctor "says" and more about how we feel, and of course how we plan to feel. Is the number more powerful then me? Do I get up out of bed stating Im tired and then that is my day or do I embrace each day with vigor and excitement. Our attitude makes a difference. How do I know this, I am the grumpiest person I know in the morning:). i have recently begun my day listening to a meditation CD that sits at my bedside, I rollover and turn it on. My day now begins on solid footing, starting with naming one thing i am grateful for. Try it... Sounds like Bijou is.

So true, So many people just "buy into" or collapse into a diagnosis or what the lab slip says you have. Why not prove the opposite, or begin anew with a personal "refresh button", of healthier habits. I love your meditation morning beginning.
What would you recommend as far as a "refresh your life" diet, one that would boost immunity. If you have an answer to that, and you have some time, I'd love to see it in a blog so people could find it. Once I see it I will tag it in a category called diet tips.
