HYPERTHERMIA or thermal cancer treatment. A friend of mine told me he is looking into this treatment for his particular type of cancer. I am not sure if it is effective with leukemia or myelofibrosis but I am going to check into it. I will know much more this weekend. You can find a lot more on google under cancer heat therapy. Hyperthermia is a heat cancer treatment applied (locally at the Valley Cancer Institute) to tumors, raising tumor temperature to about 42.5ºC (108ºF) for about 45 to 60 minutes.
